Hi Brenda,
I'm Janice Owens from Ocean Springs Mississippi. I spoke to you on the phone this week. I had called to get a little verification of procedure as well as some moral support before I did my first sculpted full set. Anyway I wanted to let you know that the instructions you gave me over the phone were wonderful! I didn't have a single problem! I have NEVER worked with gel before so this was my first experience of any kind with gel and after talking to you on the phone I was very relaxed and felt like I knew what I was doing.
My client takes both diabetes meds as well as thyroid meds and I have never been able to keep acrylic on her for more than a few days. Usually on the second day she'd start to have lifting and by the 4th day she'd loose a nail. So far the gel is doing beautifully! I put the set on her on Wed. and she came back in the salon (to have her hair done) on Friday so I took a good look at her nails. No lifting, no cracking nothing but perfect beautiful nails!
I also have another client who wears acrylic overlays and likes them buffed up very shiny. I suggested we 'try' the gel top gloss rather than all that buffing. She LOVED IT! The top gloss is soooo shiny that she never wants to go back to buffing.
I have always been an acrylic girl. I mean a diehard acrylic girl but I am so impressed with not only Akzentz Gel but with the support you offer that I'm thinking of converting all my clients to gel.
I will say that gel was much harder to work than acrylic but after talking to you and your explanation of how to sculpt and move the gel it all fell into place. By the way I don't use tips with acrylic so I was determined to sculpt with gel too.
Thanks again for all your help and support. I know that I sounded like an idiot on the phone the other day but I was soooo scared! LOL!
Janice Owens PS I'm going to post this letter on Beautytech.com too. I want everyone to know how much I think of Akzentz and y'all! Thanks again! JLO
